Megan Holmes
MACP, LCT-C
Hello, my name is Megan Holmes, and I am a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate (LCT-C) with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB).

I completed my Master's in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. I have years of experience working with children, youth, adolescents and families and in a variety of community settings.

Clients can expect to be met with warmth, compassion, no judgment and empathy. I value my clients and consider it a privilege to walk alongside them. I believe an important aspect in the counselling process is the therapeutic relationship between the counsellor and the client. I use a client-centred approach while drawing from evidence-based techniques,  such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relational difficulties, grief, spirituality, life transitions, self-doubt, lack of self-esteem or self-discovery. Together, using a collaborative approach, we can find coping strategies and techniques to help you move forward and start your healing journey.

The counselling space is where you can feel seen, heard and supported where you are at.
